Miss Fortune Skins Guide

Latest posts by Stefan Stevanovic (see all)

Miss Fortune is one of the more captivating female characters in League of Legends. She is recognized as one of the Runeterras’ fiercest captains, a person with a ravishing charm and a deadly aim. Over the years, she has had numerous encounters with Gangplank, a person who killed her family, but also other League of Legends characters.

Miss Fortune wields two sturdy guns. She is quite elusive and works well against waves of enemies. The champion can utilize Make it Rain to stop opponents in their track, followed by Bullet Time, which will decimate their lines. In this Miss Fortune skin guide, we will review all the skins that were published for the champion over the years.

Key Info Up Front

Miss Fortune is one of the champions with the most skins. She has a whopping 17 cosmetics, ranging from Battle Bunny to Bewitching Miss Fortune and Pool Party. Some of these are really cool and offer new animations and effects.

Like always, it can be hard opting for just one of these items. Gun Goddess Miss Fortune is probably my favorite, but we should also consider items such as Secret Agent Miss Fortune and Road Warrior Miss Fortune. All in all, if you’re a fan of the character, there will be so many choices to choose from.

Original Miss Fortune

Skin Lore

Sarah Fortune, also known as Miss Fortune, is a notorious Bilgewater pirate feared for mercilessness but admired for her beauty. Her faith is intertwined with Gangplanks’; she will forever haunt the pirate who murdered her family. Despite her looks, she is not a person to be trifled with, and those who make such a mistake will quickly perish riddled by bullets.

Appearance and model

Miss Fortune might be inspired by either Terry Brooks’ Shannara or Elza from Final Fantasy.

Regardless, this savvy markswoman wields two powerful blunderbusses with golden details. As it suits any captain, she wears a large pirate hat that demonstrates her status. All the clothing pieces are made to emphasize her “attributes.” She has a skimpy blue brasier, long white sleeves without anything covering her shoulders, sturdy pirate boots, and leather trousers.

The champion is fair-skinned, with red hair and dark eyes. She also has a set of earrings that are barely visible beneath her hat.

Pros

  • Pretty solid design for base skin.
  • She has everything that a pirate needs except a wooden leg and a parrot.

Cons

  • I would prefer a few extra details to round up the appearance.

Cowgirl Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 750

Skin Lore

As the best bounty hunter in the prairies, Sarah Fortune always sides with the highest bidder. As soon as you pay the price, you can rest assured that the target is as good as gone.

Appearance and model

This particular cosmetic shares High Noon these with champions such as Longhorn Alistar, High Noon Urgot, High Noon Asha, etc.

Cowgirl Miss Fortune has two massive guns with elongated wide barrels resembling something from a steampunk cartoon. As it suits the theme, she has leather Wild West-inspired trousers. She also has leather gloves and a white cotton shirt tied in a knot.

The champion wears a leather jacket and a has a brown bandit scarf that helps with all the evil things that she does. Instead of the red hair, she is a blonde. Finally, the champion has a massive cowgirl hat.

Pros

  • A really good skin, especially when you compare it to some other cosmetics from that period.
  • Cowgirl theme is another great cosmetic for a gun-wielding champion.

Cons

  • Rather expensive given that there are much better options on the market.

Waterloo Miss Fortune

Appearance and model

Waterloo design is pretty awesome, giving Miss Fortune a completely different feeling. The champion received two new guns with reinforced barrels and lots of golden/wooden details.

As for her clothing, the champion is meant to resemble Napoleon Bonaparte. She has the old French officer uniform with blue trousers and a long blue coat. She wears a dark blue scarf beneath her shirt and also has long white socks and gloves.

Waterloo Miss Fortune wears strong golden shoulder pauldrons and has a French commander hat that is very similar to that of a pirate (except for the blue color and central ribbon). Miss Fortune has long red hair tied with a few ribbons.

Pros

  • Another nice theme with lots of small details.
  • I like the guns. It looks like they pack a punch.

Cons

  • Not much to complain about.

Secret Agent Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 975

Skin Lore

N/A

Appearance and model

This particular cosmetic is very similar to Jessica Rabbit. However, when you check her guns, you will notice they are basically the same as the Golden Guns from James Bond.

In my opinion, the cosmetic reminds me of stereotypical Chinese assassins from spy movies. This is mostly because of the long purple dress that features autumn leaves. To complete the looks of femme fatal, Miss Fortune wears long stockings and black shoes.

The champion’s shoulders are bare naked, and she wears two white gloves stretching all the way to her elbows. The color composition is rounded up with a bead necklace and round earrings. Like most other skins, Miss Fortune fashions red hair that is not too short, not too long.

Base animations

Pros

  • The overall appearance is nice and polished but not overwhelming.
  • The dress is my favorite part about the skin.

Cons

  • The guns look really strange when Miss Fortune uses them.

Candy Cane Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 975

Skin Lore

Unlike most other Christmas bringers, Miss Fortune doesn’t care about trivial things such as Naughty/Good lists. Instead, she persecutes her bounties with no regard for the Christmas spirit.

Appearance and model

The champion shares the theme with Santa Gragas, Reindeer Kog’Maw, Earnest Elf Tristana, and many other champions from the Snowdown Showdown collection. Her guns have the same appearance as candy canes, with lateral white and red stripes. There are also green bows on top of that to complete the appearance.

As you can presume, she is dressed in the traditional red/white Santa outfit but with a twist: she only wears a tight dress and long sleeves. Miss Fortune has long black boots with white fur. There is also a mistletoe necklace and a red Santa hat. The champion’s hair is red (as always).

Pros

  • Great for the holidays, but not much else.

Cons

  • It is a bit stereotypical; there are much better skins out there for the same price.

Road Warrior Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 520

Skin Lore

Roaming the open roads of the wastelands, Miss Fortune is willing to accept any bounty. Her notoriety precedes her, so she is always able to find open contracts when moving to new cities. However, the problems always seem to find her. As of late, Miss Fortune has been butting heads with a gang of Vandals, a quarrel she will put to end with a rain of bullets.

Appearance and model

Obviously, this is a reference to Mad Max. It is a part of the Road Warrior series alongside cosmetics such as Ruthless Pantheon, Baron Von Veigar, and Hyena Warwick.

Her standard guns were replaced with sawed-off shotguns, which seems much more suitable for the theme. The guns look pretty worn out, having bands around handles. Road Warrior Miss Fortune wears futuristic leather pants with black heeled boots. You might also notice different knee pads and shin plates.

As with many other cosmetics, the champion’s belly is uncovered. The bounty hunter has a short white t-shirt and an orange scarf around her neck. The black coat has one long sleeve on the right side, while the left side is completely open, showing the champion’s strong arms.

Lastly, I have to mention her spikey shoulder guard as well as a black hat with goggles.

Base animations

Pros

  • The thing I like the most about this piece is that it’s not mirrored. In other words, there are lots of small details on each side of the body.

Cons

  • Somehow, it doesn’t look that polished. The edges of the outfit don’t feel smooth, unlike some other cosmetics.

Crime City Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 975

Skin Lore

As a true crime lord, Sarah Fortune has her hands in various shady businesses. After managing to split Graves and Twitch, her new task is to gain as much ground as possible before the two of them realize what’s happening.

Appearance and model

Based on the description, you can figure out that Crime City Miss Fortune is a part of the same collection as Twitch and Graves (Crime City series).

Instead of the usual guns, she now holds two Tommy guns, which look huge. The outfit combines black, dark blue, and purple colors. Crime City Miss Fortune wears long stockings and boots. Like every businesswoman, she has a suit that resembles suits of 30s gangsters.

As for the head area, the champion has a blue choker with a crystal as well as a dark blue/purple hat. It seems that her hair is slightly darker compared to the default color.

Base animations

Pros

  • The guns are pretty awesome. They are probably the focal point of the cosmetic.

Cons

  • This particular cosmetic feels really dull and forgettable. While the colors are not awful, they don’t do anything to promote the purchase.

Arcade Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 1,350

Skin Lore

Miss Fortune is recognized as one of the best shoot ‘em up players holding top scores for almost every title from this genre. Things are a bit different within the arcade world, where Sarah Fortune acts as a bounty hunter, constantly increasing her top scores by bringing villains to justice.

Appearance and model

Arcade Miss Fortune is one of the more colorful skins for the champion. The cosmetic combines red, purple, pink, dark blue, orange, yellow, blue, with a plethora of small details to boot.

Miss Fortune has big boots covering her calves. She has a purple skirt with lots of even squares, a light blue belt, a yellow star buckle, and what seems to be a Game Boy on her hip. The champion’s tummy is uncovered as well. She has a blue shirt that looks like a corset with emphasis on cleavage. The shoulders are covered with an orange vest, and she has two pink sleeves on her arms.

Another major selling point of the skin is the hat. It closely resembles that of Super Mario. In fact, all of the champion’s chroma colors (peridot, k.o., citrine, ruby, amethyst, aquamarine) resemble the colors that the Nintendo game’s plumbers wear. At the center of the hat, there is a pink, cubical icon in the shape of a heart.

Her hair is also incredible. Combining blue and pink, it goes really well with other colors without looking like a separate item. Lastly, her red guns resemble the old arcade guns for games like Duck Hunt. They also remind me of various old-school toys that kids used to play with back in the 80s and 90s.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX)

The champion’s Strut combines purple stars and pink hearts instead of the usual red hearts. This is much more in line with the overall theme. Furthermore, when she activates the Strut active, her guns will turn bright yellow, which makes it much easier to notice the buff.

Love Tap has a completely different color with an emphasis on light blue. Make it Rain effect is also altered, and it is incredible. Miss Fortune will rain down light blue particles that resemble effects from 90s games. Bullet Time creates flat circles, not even trying to go with modern spherical objects to represent bullets. Whenever the ability hits a target, you will notice a massive circle on their body.

Animations

During Recall, she will summon an old school TV, and she will start playing Duck Hunt with her guns. You can also see Gankplank on the TV at one point. When changing targets, there will be a massive visual debuff over a target’s head, indicating that the passive has been activated.

Pros

  • I love all the references, including the Duck Hunt, Super Mario, Action 52, and Game Boy.
  • Although you might think that rudimentary effects such as this would seem lazy, they actually add to the cosmetic.

Cons

  • Some people might not like the retro sounds; they can get annoying after a while. You also don’t “feel” the gunshots with them.

Captain Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 975

Skin Lore

In some other dimension of reality, Sarah’s parents were never killed, and she was an army captain beloved by her home city folks. Unfortunately, this is only a distant dream in the real world.

Appearance and model

While this skin is very nicely polished and it brings a certain level of grandeur to the champion, it resembles some other cosmetics from Miss Fortune’s collection. Although much better than, for example, Waterloo Miss Fortune, it is very similar to it.

The champion wears short shoes and has long socks. The Bounty Hunter has striped shorts, a brown belt, and a revealing blue/white shirt with frontal tying. She also wears something that could be described as a double-crossed chocker that is held with a heart broch. Lastly, she has brown leather sleeves.

The cape gives the champion her majestic appearance. It is long, white, with golden edges, and it feels much sturdier than it should be. The emphasis is on strong, broad shoulders, but the bottom part doesn’t lag behind. Miss Fortune has a knife tucked behind her back.

Her red hair is simply beautiful and is, for the most part, covered by an intimidating officer hat. The guns are oversized, with three cylinders and ghoulish objects adorning the top parts. The cosmetic is a part of the Bilgewater: Burning Tides collection.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX)

N/A

Animations

When casting Recall, the champion will throw an orange in the air and shoot it. This is a reference to the fact that she will kill Gankplank.

Pros

  • The guns look pretty awesome. They are reinforced a have a nice tidbit on top.
  • Generally speaking, she does look like a real sea admiral.

Cons

  • It really doesn’t feel special.

Pool Party Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 1,350

Skin Lore

A proficient wielder of two water pistols, Pool Party Miss Fortune, can immortalize perfect moments with even better selfies. She splashes opponents like a tsunami and looks magnificent doing so.

Appearance and model

As you can presume based on skin lore, water pistols are the highlight of this skin. Overall, Miss Fortune has rather eye-catching weapons, but changing the skin to water guns takes it to another level. They have purple handles and bodies, with large blue water tanks sitting on their top sides.

Pool Party Miss Fortune wears a one-piece bathing suit. It is a rather provocative outfit with a middle section cut out as well as an area around the cleavage. The piece is blue/white and has a heart-shaped anchor around the neck.

Miss Fortune wears summer heels, golden bracelets, and a straw hat with a red ribbon. Like always, she has red hair. Another nice tidbit is her sunglasses with purple edges and in the shape of hearts. This cosmetic is a part of the Pool Party theme.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX)

The champion’s Double Up ability casts a beach ball at the targets. Strut passive creates blue hearts and bubbles beneath Miss Fortune’s feet. However, when she presses the active, her guns will get a yellow glow.

Make it Rain releases a hailstorm of coconuts (you heard it right). When she activates the ultimate, Bullet Time, a barrage of water squirts will fly in a cone.

Animations

Instead of the standard red color, her auto-attacks now utilize light blue (color of the water) palette. When Recalling, Miss Fortune will take a few selfies beforehand.

Pros

  • It is a relaxing cosmetic with gentle color shades.
  • Water guns are the selling point. It feels as if you’re really shooting water instead of bullets, which completely changes the experience.

Cons

  • I feel they could’ve done a bit more with the outfit.

Star Guardian Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 1,350

Skin Lore

Star Guardian Miss Fortune is a galactic bounty hunter who can’t keep her temper in check. As a result, she is always the first to charge into the fray, focusing on taking down an opponent even if it puts her in harm’s way.

Appearance and model

Like other cosmetics from this collection, Star Guardian Miss Fortune is meant to reference the magic girl anime genre.

The cosmetic is dominated by white, red, and yellow colors. The Bounty Hunter wears long stockings and has fashionable white heels. Her dress is a combination of a shirt, skirt, and a cape, with the abdominal area covered in red, while the rest of the outfit is primarily white.

The clothes have several distinct details. Golden edges encompass the majority of the dress, and she has a choker in the shape of fire with a red star in the center. Star Guardian Miss Fortune also wears long white sleeves, with red detail at the top. Lastly, I have to mention a large red ribbon on her backside.

As for the weapon, she carries two-winged guns. For the most part, they are completely white with golden edges.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX)

Instead of the standard cannonballs, Make it Rain releases small purple/orange stars. The effect is similar to her basic attack. Everything has this color scheme, including Strut’s passive and her Double Up.

When the Bounty Hunter activates ultimate, a large number of orange stars will fly in a cone. You might also notice the champion’s familiars Boki and Baki, close to Miss Fortune, helping her out.

Animations

When Recalling, Star Guardian Miss Fortune will summon her guardian spirits Baki and Boki to help her out. The champion’s basic attack is probably the best out of them all. It releases a multi-colored star towards the target, and once struck, the enemy will receive a purple mark.

Pros

  • The color shades are pretty amazing and playful.
  • Like with all Star Guardian skins, the addition of Boki and Baki is pretty nice.

Cons

  • Somehow, it feels as they could’ve done something more with the cosmetic.

Pajama Guardian Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 1,350

Skin Lore

Sarah Fortune is not the type of woman to do girly things. She doesn’t do pillow fights and things of that nature. However, when asked by her friends Lulu and Lux, she had no choice but to accept. Just in case something awful happens, Miss Fortune has a pajama with a holster meant to conceal the guns.

Appearance and model

The cosmetic is from Star Guardian Season 2 collection and also has the Disguise theme.

Pajama Guardian Miss Fortune’s guns are the same as those of Star Guardian Miss Fortune. What makes the cosmetic different is the pajama.

This is probably the only skin covering the whole of Miss Fortune’s body. She has a pair of slippers with cute animal faces (hard to say which animal; probably something from LoL lore). Even better, one of these cute animals wears an eye patch reminding us that Miss Fortune belongs to the high seas.

The outfit is light blue, with golden edges and an orange center. It features stars in a few prominent places, including the side of the legs, elbows, and lower back. Pajama also has 2 small wings on the hips.

Miss Fortune’s hair is orange and red. The champion wears a light blue bandana with a beforementioned creature engraved into it.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX)

All visual effects and sounds are the same as for Star Guardian Miss Fortune.

Animations

All animations are the same as for Star Guardian Miss Fortune.

Pros

  • Given that the cosmetic shares the effects with Star Guardian, both of them are really nice.
  • If you don’t like overly sexualized Miss Fortune, then this is the skin for you.
  • I especially like the eye patch on the animal.

Cons

  • Wearing pajamas and running makes Miss Fortune look clumsy.

Gun Goddess Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 2,775

Skin Lore

Sarah Fortune is a ruthless bounty hunter who will stop at nothing to track her prey. Surviving a near-death experience when she was targeted by an assassin, she now wears a high-tech suit that will protect her from any harm while increasing her offensive prowess.

Appearance and model

This cosmetic is a part of the Steel Valkyries set. What makes it so unique is that you can choose between 4 exosuits, including Royal Arms, Starswarm, Scarlet Fair, and Zero Hour.

To describe the cosmetic, I would probably have to write a few more pages. Each one of these 4 suits is unique, with different details and weapons. They utilize different color schemes, so the best way to experience Gun Goddess Miss Fortune is to actually purchase the skin and start playing the champion.

Even though it is quite expensive, it is worth every penny!

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX)

Strut leaves hearts of different colors (depending on a suit) behind the champion. When an enemy is marked, you will notice digital, sci-fi hearts on top of them. Make it Rain summons a flurry of thin bullet projectiles, while her ultimate utilizes amazing shading regardless of the exosuit.

Animations

When using Ghost, the champion will gain a burst from her rear thrusters gliding over the field of battle. Recall animation isn’t that special; Miss Fortune will strike a few poses and then fly away into the night sky. All basic attacks release high-caliber bullets of different shapes and sizes.

Pros

  • Finally, a Miss Fortune sci-fi skin.
  • You can alternate between styles, which means you will always have fun with it.

Cons

  • Some people think that it’s expensive. However, given how much stuff you’ll get, it is more than worth it for avid Miss Fortune players.

Bewitching Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 1,350

Skin Lore

A patron of the monster, Bewitching Miss Fortune, comes out at night seeking new adventures.

Appearance and model

Bewitching Miss Fortune is a part of Trick-or-Treat collection. The skin is dominated by deep blue and purple colors. The champion wears long, purple stockings and deep blue high-heels. She has a purple skirt that nicely transitions into the deep blue shirt.

The thing I really like about the cosmetic is the bat wings in the back. They are simply on point! These bad boys are held together to the dress with a pumpkin head broch. Another thing worth mentioning is the decoration’s on the Bounty Hunter’s hips. As any witch, Miss Fortune has a massive hat adorning her beautiful orange/blonde hair.

The guns are always altered to fit the theme. Instead of the usual blunderbuss pistols, she has two candle-guns with blue handles.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX)

Instead of the usual Love Tap, Bewitching Miss Fortune leaves an ominous bat-winged heart. When her Strut becomes active, you will notice small bats and red embers below her feet. Make it Rain summons red/purple projectiles, while Bullet Time creates a similar visual effect.

Animations

Bewitching Miss Fortune has probably the best Recall animation of them all. She summons a pumpkin, increases its size by shooting at it (however that might work), and jumps onto it so that she’s carried away. Her basic attacks are pretty wholesome, ejecting massive purple projectiles from the guns.

Pros

  • Pretty solid skin overall.
  • Candle guns are a nice change.
  • Great for all those who like to get spooked.

Cons

  • No complaints here.

Bewitching Miss Fortune Prestige Edition

Image from Fandom

Price: 100 prestige points.

Skin Lore

Bewitching Miss Fortune asserts her dominance by stealing candies from bad kids and animated spirits. Now controlling all the Halloween resources, the champion is ready to unleash real mischief onto the world.

Appearance and model

As it fits the theme, the prestige edition design has a gold color to signify its higher tier. Miss Fortune fashions golden trousers, white/gold high-heels, and a white dress with cape-like extension. Her hat is white and very much resembles the Talking Hat from the Harry Potter series.

The champion has numerous other small, golden details on the outfit, some of which are decorated as bat wings. There is also a green bottle on Miss Fortune’s hip, likely containing a magical potion. The champion’s guns are quite menacing. They have three barrels with spikey outlines. The handles are golden, and there are also gold bat wings on top of the weapon.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX)

Basically the same as Bewitching Miss Fortune. The only difference is that the color pallet is yellow/orange/golden.

Animations

Basically the same as Bewitching Miss Fortune. The only difference is that the color pallet is yellow/orange/golden.

Pros

  • Hogwarts hat and potion are pretty awesome.
  • Guns look quite menacing.

Cons

  • The addition of the green color looks a bit out of place.

Battle Bunny Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 1,820

Skin Lore

Miss Fortune emerged as a replacement to Riven, the previous commander of Anima Squad. Although the loss of Riven was a big blow, Sarah Fortune has all the skills and cunning to minimize the impact of his disappearance while protecting humanity from the outsiders.

Appearance and model

This is quite an interesting piece, and it is a part of the Anima Squad theme. The skin has a bunny theme, with lots of metallic sci-fi elements.

Her guns have black handles and the lower part with single purple barrels. There is also a white and black bunny on top of each one. The majority of her outfit is metallic purple/silver; Miss Fortune’s jacket reminds me of something from Cyberpunk 2077.

Besides the bunny guns, the champion also has massive bunny ears and a bunny tail. Her heels resemble bunny feet, and they have an additional set of bunny ears in front. There are also furry sections around her wrists.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX)

Whenever Miss Fortune strikes a target, she will leave a bunny mark with a somewhat similar shape to the original debuff. Double Up launches a massive, fast-moving bunny at an enemy and a foe behind it. Strut passive will leave a trail of bunnies behind the champion; when she activates the ability, the guns will gain a purple glow.

Similar to other abilities, Make it Rain will rain down bunny bullets. The same goes for the ultimate.

Animations

During Recall animation, she will summon a “space balloon” that will send her into the sky. The Bounty Hunter’s basic attack is purple. If you look a bit closer, you will notice that she’s actually shooting bunny-like bullets.

Pros

  • Bunny bullets are pretty incredible. The color combination, in particular, is really dope.
  • I like how her hair looks when combined with the rest of the outfit.

Cons

  • Incredible skin, all in all.

Ruined Miss Fortune

Image from Fandom

Price: 1,350

Skin Lore

Although Miss Fortune managed to exact her revenge, thus becoming the greatest Bilgewater power, she was still not satisfied with the success. She was willing to pay any price to fortify her power, regardless of what might come afterward.

Appearance and model

If I were, to be honest, this skin reminds me of the cursed sailors from the Pirates of the Caribbeans: Dead Man’s Chest.

Miss Fortune wears black/dark green attire, which gives her a particularly devilish appearance. She has a wide pirate hat with, what seems to be, a light green coral detail on top of it. There is also something on her chest, which seems to be a hole where her heart used to be.

Weapons follow the theme; the mouth of the gun resembles the mouth of a shark. There is also a large fin on top of the weapon and a few other edgy elements.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX)

First off, her voice sounds ghoulish, with a noticeable echo.

Her passive mark is altered, and it now looks like a distinguished family’s emblem (the best way to describe it). Double Up launches a massive, dark projectile towards targets. Strut passive creates dark green particles at her feet, while activation spawns green mist around the weapons.

Make it Rain summons numerous dark diamond bullets, and the same can be said for Bullet Time ultimate.

Animations

During Recall, Miss Fortune summons a shark that will carry her away to the fountain. Her basic attack sends forth black/dark green diamond projectiles.

Pros

  • Probably the darkest of all the Miss Fortune skins.
  • All the colors work well with each other.

Cons

  • I would love a bit more effects on bullets.
