In League of Legends, there are champions that solo laners do not like facing. Pantheon is one of them. He has a kit that favors strong engages, especially early on during the game. He can leap onto an enemy champion, dealing a significant amount of damage, then back away while taking minor damage.
If he does this repeatedly, getting a kill is virtually guaranteed. And when he gets his ultimate ability, he can literally attack any lane he wants.
Now, it’s not all doom and gloom when facing Pantheon. You can choose a champion who counters him like a full tank or one who is good at kiting. Either way, matches with a Pantheon tend to be exciting because they can go either way and are usually unpredictable.
It makes sense for such a champion to have a wide range of skins. After all, if you’re carrying the game, you want to look the part.
The Bottom Line
With 11 skins, Pantheon is one of the more popular champions in League of Legends. One unique thing about him is that most of his skins look fantastic, and it is hard to pick the best.
However, Dragonslayer Pantheon stands out as his best skin. He wears dragon armor, sprouts dragon wings, and even changes into a dragon. If that is not cool, I do not know what is. At 1350 RP, though, it’s one of his most expensive skins.
If you can’t afford it but are still looking for a decent Pantheon skin, Ruthless Pantheon is worth a gander. It is affordable at 520 RP but is still visually distinctive from the default skin. Still, I suggest going through the list below. By better understanding all his skins, you will know which ones to go for and the ones to avoid.
Default Pantheon Skin
Pantheon has been reworked from his original skin. In his new default, he wears a helmet that harkens back to Spartan warriors, a blazing crest that trails from the helmet, a blue cloak, bronze ankle guards, and sandals. In addition, he carries a shield and spear.
When he recalls, a big rock emerges from the ground. He climbs it, puts his shield down, removes his helmet to reveal his human face, and when he returns to home base, wears his mask again and wields his shield. When Pantheon dies, his shield drops first. He tries to hold himself up with his spear but collapses, his mask falling off.
Myrmidon Pantheon
Price: 520 RP
Release Date: 2nd February 2010
Pantheon Overview
Pantheon is a versatile champion you can play as a bruiser, assassin, or tank. His abilities include:
- Passive (Mortal Will): When he casts an ability or lands a basic attack, he gets a stack of Mortal Will. After 5 stacks, he consumes Mortal Will for bonus effects.
- Q (Comet Spear): Pantheon either thrusts or hurls his spear.
- W (Shield Vault): Pantheon leaps onto an enemy, stunning them and dealing damage.
- E (Aegis Assault): Pantheon braces his shield, slowing himself but reducing the damage he takes.
- R (Grand Starfall): He leaps into the air, vanishes, and reappears on the map at a target location.
Skin Lore
Myrmidon Pantheon is based on Myrmidons, who were an ancient Greek tribe. In Homer’s Iliad, Achilles commanded soldiers called Myrmidons. In League of Legends, this skin is exclusive to Pantheon. There are other Mythological skins, but they are based on different legends.
According to the game’s lore, gods crafted Myrmidons, and Zeus himself gave them life through magma. However, they attacked the gods, and they were warlike.
Appearance and Effects
Unlike the default Pantheon skin, Myrmidon Pantheon is primarily covered in armor. Whatever skin you can see is a dark purple color. His helmet is loosely fashioned after the sun, hiding red eyes, and he wears a golden breastplate. His spear and shield also have more curves, with a red orb at their heart.
There isn’t much of a change from his default skin when it comes to effects. But considering the low price, this isn’t really a con.
How To Get It
Myrmidon Pantheon costs 520 RP, which will set your finances back around $4. However, it’s not much, and the skin is pretty decent.
Chromas
Myrmidon Pantheon doesn’t have any Chromas.

- Q (Comet Spear): Pantheon either thrusts or hurls his spear.

The Road Warrior Universe focuses on a dystopian wasteland. Here, the wasteland has turned champions into roadsters, raiders, and vandals. Ruthless Pantheon is a Road Warrior seeking vengeance. An incident occurred one night, and he hunts the Vandal gang in his doom buggy.
Other Road Warriors include Road Warrior Miss Fortune, Hyena Warwick, and Badlands Baron Rumble.
Appearance and Effects
If you’re a Mad Max fan, this skin will satisfy your post-apocalyptic cravings. Everything Ruthless Pantheon wears looks fashioned from scraps; it’s rusty, used, and favors form over function. This starts with his spiky helmet with red goggles and yellow mask. He has strapped bullets on a belt across his torso, spiked ankle and shoulder guards, a tattoo on his left arm, and boots.
His shield and spear are sharp, metallic, and maintain that pieced-together-from-scrap look.
How To Get It
As a Legacy Skin, Ruthless Pantheon is not currently available in the store. However, if you have your ear to the ground, you can find it during an event or unlock it through Loot.
Chromas
No Chromas on Ruthless Pantheon, sadly.

Skin Lore
In the Dragon Slayer Universe, Dragons attacked people and decimated them. However, a few heroes managed to kill one of them. They used its hide as armor, and armed with that, they sought out the other dragons. Dragonslayer Pantheon is one of these heroes. While the others were lost to time, he alone remained, seeking vengeance on the dragons.
Appearance and Effects
As a Dragonslayer, a big chunk of his armor is made from dragonhide. His helmet has dragon horns with red glowing eyes, and the rest of his armor has sharp, gilded edges. His shield also has a dragon eye at its center.
His recall animation has changed. Dragon wings emerge from his back. He flies up and lands at the home base without his helmet, which he then puts on. When he uses his ultimate ability, he slams his shield into the ground, wings sprout from his back, and he jumps up. When he appears at his target destination, he is a total dragon who turns back to normal.
How To Get It
Dragonslayer Pantheon is one of his most expensive skins. At 1350 RP, it will cost you around $10.
Chromas
The skin has 7 Chromas: Amethyst, Catseye, Emerald, Obsidian, Pearl, Ruby, and Sandstone. The Chromas only change his color scheme, but the options are vivid and varied enough to make the skin feel new.

Zombie Slayer Pantheon wears a gas mask with a spiky orange crest. Instead of his usual armor, he wears gloves, boots, a thick vest, green pants, and a backpack with fire extinguishers attached to it. His spear has pipes for its shaft, and the blade is actually a chainsaw.
When he recalls, a zombie marker sprouts up, and he saws through it. Most of his abilities also have the chainsaw sound effect.
How To Get It
For a skin that the designers and developers put so much work into, it’s a shame that Zombie Slayer Pantheon is not readily available. Unfortunately, it is a Legacy Skin, so even if you have the cash to buy it, you will have to wait for the day it becomes available.

Pulsefire Pantheon wears a mask that only covers part of his face. His armor is mainly white, interspersed with gold and black. He wields a futuristic spear, and his shield has a blue rotating orb that takes up half its space.

How To Get It
Pulsefire Pantheon is relatively expensive at 1350 RP. However, if you can afford it and like how it looks, it’s worth the price.
