From this Nasus Skins Guide, when it comes to visual effects (VFX), sound effects (SFX), animations, and particles, Infernal Nasus stands above the rest of the champion’s skins. However, this skin is the most expensive Nasus skin out there, and this factor might discourage some players from getting it.

10. Galactic Nasus

Price – 520 RP

Skin Lore

Since this skin was the first skin on Nasus, it has no lore or background story.

Appearance and Model

The developers designed Galactic Nasus when the game had limited resources. As a result, the skin looks old-fashioned and outdated with simple art designs.

In-game, you might as well use his original model as the skin only added a different color to the champion’s armor. He appears the same, even down to the weapon he wields.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX) on Abilities

All abilities retain the same effects as the original model.

Animations

The skin retains the same taunts, recall, and dance animations as the original model.

Pros

• It is the earliest skin on Nasus, making it unique to veteran League of Legends players.
• With a price of 520 RP, Galactic Nasus is one of the cheapest skins for the champion.

Cons

• The skin offers nothing unique to the champion.
• Most Nasus players prefer his other cheap skins to this one.

9. Dreadknight Nasus

Price – 975 RP

Skin Lore

Dreadknight Nasus serves as a keeper of the forgotten texts deep within the catacombs of his master’s labyrinthine library. It is said that within lies the secret of the Dreadknights’ undoing, but no living soul has yet verified whether this is truth or fable.

Appearance and Model

Dreadknight Nasus appears as a warrior wielding a long-handled single-bladed ax. The armor completely covers his lower body but only covers about half of his upper body. He also wears a black helmet that covers the top of his head and snout. This skin gives the champion animal-like fur and looks adequately menacing.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX) on Abilities

• R – Fury of the Sands: The champion’s weapon changes color and glows with an unnatural light. His body becomes more scarred like he has been in battle for decades.

Animations

Dreadknight Nasus retains the same recall, taunts, dance, and laugh animations as the original model.

Pros

• The skin gives Nasus a more primal appearance.
• Expect the same particle clarity since it retains almost all of the original model’s effects.
• One of the earliest Nasus skins, and that gives it somewhat of vintage status.
• He is a favorite amongst his player base.

Cons

• Too expensive for a skin that offers nothing unique except a change in appearance.

8. Battlecast Nasus

Price – 1350 RP

Skin Lore

The latest monstrosity constructed by Viktor, Battlecast Nasus units specializes in the targeted retrieval of high-priority targets. As they hunt for their quarry, their machinery is programmed to learn and adapt, increasing their destructive capacity and empowering them to obliterate all that would stand in their way.

Appearance and Model

Nasus takes on the appearance of a vast menacing robotic warrior wielding a mechanical ax with jagged edges. Every part of the champion appears to be made of metal and powered by intense heat with fumes coming out of exhaust pipes on his back.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX) on Abilities

Nasus voice lines all take on a robotic effect.

• Q – Siphoning Strike: The ax becomes infused with intense heat and expels fumes from an elongated hose at the top of it. The jagged edges come alive and rotate at high speed like a chainsaw. Upon striking an enemy, embers scatter from the weapon and the target.
• W – Wither: Searing chains begin to swirl around the target while giving off heat. The chains continue in this motion till the ability ends. You will hear the sound of heavy chains while this ability remains active.

• E – Spirit Fire: The center area of effect combusts for a split second. The heat then spreads quickly to the well-defined edges of the affected area. A symbol of Battlecast Nasus burns into the ground for the ability’s duration. Target marks appear around the area while the scorched earth sends tiny embers upwards. There is also a sound effect for each tick of the ability’s damage.
• R – Fury of the Sands: Nasus becomes superheated with his metallic body having a hot-red appearance. He significantly increases in size and has flames burning around him.

Animations

• Recall: Nasus scans the ground in front of him, revealing footprints. Then he turns on his axe like a chainsaw and slashes the ground twice. Finally, an iron chain comes down from an overhead helicopter; Nasus grabs it and flies away. However, only the helicopter’s shadow is visible.
• Taunt and Dance: The skin adds no unique animation to the champion’s dance and taunt. They remain the same as the original model.

Pros

• Experience Nasus as a massive war robot.
• The skin effectively presents the champion from a robotic perspective.
• Battlecast Nasus has unique voice lines and recalls animation.
• It correctly defines the boundaries of all his abilities.

Cons

• The skin might become too distracting during team fights.
• R-Fury of the Sands appears too vivid for some players.
• It has no added taunt or dance animation.

7. Riot K-9 Nasus

Price – 975 RP

The skin has no lore. It is, however, a favorite among seasoned Nasus players.

Appearance and Model

Riot K-9 Nasus portrays the champion as an enforcer who controls mayhem or riots. As a result, the skin replaced his ax with a long baton that he also uses in-game. Finally, he wears combat armor that emphasizes his enforcer status.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX) on Abilities

The skin adds no unique effects to the champion’s abilities, and his voice remains the same.

Animations

His recall, dance, and taunt animation remain the same as the original model.

6. Pharaoh Nasus

Immortal beast of the northern lands, Nasus wanders the expanse of the Great Desert in search of his once-green kingdom. He conjures vast sandstorms to cover his tracks, hiding his existence from the world.

Appearance and Model

Nasus wears a Pharaoh’s regalia, complete with the royal scepter he uses as a weapon. Pharaoh Nasus has one of the most noticeable changes in size whenever you activate his ultimate ability.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX) on Abilities

• R – Fury of the Sands: Nasus significantly grows in size, the blue and gold color of his apparel changing to red and grey. The color change emphasizes his power of death and decay.

Animations

The skin has no unique animation.

Pros

• Good concept and clean model.
• Impressive change during ult.
• Cheap
• A favourite among Nasus players

• It offers limited features

5. Space Groove Nasus

Price – 1350 RP

Skin Lore

A storied jockey, music librarian, and leader of the Dog Planet, Nasus was once under Lissandra’s thrall- seizing all his people’s grooviest records and hiding them away, never to be heard again. Yet now, with his heart opened to the power of disco, he leads his people in rebellion against the deadly shock troopers Blitz & Crank.

Appearance and Model

Space Groove Nasus appears as a colorful, groovy robot piloted by a dog seated in his head compartment. The armor consists of black leather and a few plastic-like bands. His weapon is white with an energized green edge. He also rocks green shoes.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX) on Abilities

All his abilities make musical sounds when they hit. Also, whenever Nasus swings his axe for an attack, it leaves a colorful trail in the air.

• Q – Siphoning Strike: A bubble surrounds the weapon’s head, gradually changing the green edge to purple. Upon hitting an enemy while this ability remains active, the weapon discharges energy in a mild explosion of colors.
• W – Wither: A puddle swirls around the target throughout the ability.
• E – Spirit Fire: The affected area simulates a rotating disc with the icon of the pilot dog in its center. It pulsates in rhythm with each tick of damage.
• R – Fury of the Sands: The robot becomes bigger, changing its armor color to a darker shade with the immediate area around it lighting up like a dance floor.

Animations

• Recall: The pilot exits the robot and flies around it while they both dance before joining together to disappear back to base. Upon arrival, the robot raises its left hand to mark the end of the beat.
• Taunts, Dance, and Laughter: His voice lines become robotic, mixing with puppy sounds. Instead of picking sand for a taunt, he picks space dust instead.

However, dance and laugh animations remain the same as the original model.

Pros

• The skin reflects a playful demeanor on the champion.
• As the latest skin on Nasus, it has the smoothest particles for all abilities.
• The puppy sounds are superb.

Cons

• For a skin released in 2021, one would expect a complete set of animations extending to taunts and laughter.

4. Archduke Nasus

Skin Lore

In primary school, Nasus was told an old dog couldn’t learn new tricks. Now, in his older years, as an accomplished statesman, painter, and composer, he wonders if there is truth in those words. After all, he simply cannot seem to get his chamber orchestra to listen to his directions.

Appearance and Model

Archduke Nasus appears as a high-class scholar and composer from the Victorian age. The champion achieved this look from the hat, coat, shoes, and characteristic mustache. He carries a walking stick with a golden horse head which serves as his weapon.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX) on Abilities

• R – Fury of the Sands: Nasus’ coat changes from blue to red.

Animation

All other animations and voice lines remain the same as the original model.

Pros

• Archduke Nasus is classy and well-fashioned.
• His player base loves this skin.

• The skin could use extra animations, VFX, and SFX.

3. Worldbreaker Nasus

Price – 750 RP

Skin Lore

The last of four titans prophesied to shatter the world, Nasus is the true end of all things. A monstrous abomination of smoke and flame, He will emerge from the bottom of the earth in a column of hungry fire, devouring all of existence.

Appearance and Model

Aztec Mythology influenced Worldbreaker Nasus. As a result, the skin portrays the champion as a Meso-American entity destined to destroy the world. Nasus appears in Aztec battle armor, complete with a unique ax. The skin’s overall color is ethereal blue with gold apparel.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX) on Abilities

There are no unique effects associated with this skin.

Animation

Its animations all remain as the original model.

2. Lunar Guardian

Price – 1350 RP

Skin Lore

A gift to the young Lunar Empress, Nasus was raised alongside her to guard the immortal realm from ancient darkness. Stoic but powerful, he stands to watch in the North, annihilating all who would threaten the land.

Appearance and Model

Lunar Guardian Nasus has a gold and jade theme. The champion appears in the clouds watching the mountains below for any trace of the enemy. He wears a loincloth with pieces of celestial armor on his upper body. His overall appearance in-game gives a Super Saiyan vibe which is fantastic.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX) on Abilities

• Q – Siphoning Strike: His axe glows with soft light before discharging energy upon hitting a target while active. The ability also triggers a unique SFX when activated and released.
• W – Wither: A symbol of the Lunar Empress emanates from the target and dissipates into a slowing aura. The aura swirls around the target till the ability ends.
• E – Spirit Fire: Nasus’ celestial symbol forms on the affected area. Also, the ground becomes covered in godlike light that forms soft blue auroras at the edge of the affected area.
• R – Fury of the Sands: The champion becomes imbued with celestial power, transforming his size, hair (from soft blue to golden), and armor. A divine flame also forms around him, which helps emphasize the damage he deals with any enemy who comes too close.

Animations

• Recall: Nasus turns and summons the celestial gates. He then seals it shut using his ax before taking a guard pose.

Taunts, dance, and Laughter animations remain the same as the original model.

Pros

• You get to experience Nasus in a godlike state.
• The skin has one of the smoothest feel and particles.
• His ult makes him resemble a Dragon Ball Z (DBZ) character!

Cons

• Lunar Guardian Nasus could use unique animations for his death, taunt, laughter, and dance.
• The skin can only be bought when the legacy vaults open (during special League of Legends Events).

1. Infernal Nasus

Price – 1820 RP

Skin Lore

The greater infernals are somehow even more cruel and hateful than their lesser counterparts, and Nasus is no exception. A three-headed monstrosity raised from some far-flung, hellish abyss, he withers life with his merest touch…then burns it away.

Appearance and Model

Nasus appears as a demon rising out of hell with three heads. The one in the center roars while the other two on either shoulder look inanimate but glowing with hellfire. He also wears a series of runes along his chest from one shoulder to the other and holds an ax.

Visual Effects (VFX) and Sound Effects (SFX) on Abilities

• Q – Siphoning Strike: The weapon glows with harsh light at the ax-head and bottom of its handle. Upon striking an enemy while the ability is active, a demonic rune forms on the ground beneath the target for a second. The ax then goes back to normal.
• W – Wither: Ghoulish hands swirl around the target, with heat forming beneath them.
• E – Spirit Fire: Hellfire burst upwards at the center of the affected area. It then spreads out in swirling patterns that burn into the ground. Heat continues to fan out to the area’s boundaries for the duration of the ability. The area has a green border.
• R – Fury of the Sands: The runes on his chest disappear, and the heads on both shoulders come alive, making him a three-headed demon. His body burns with hellfire, and he moves like one under the influence of bloodlust—a demonic aura forms around him, with ethereal voices whispering for the duration of the ability.

Animations

• Recall: Nasus stomps his weapon into the ground at a steady rhythm that grows faster till he upends his ax to hit the floor one last time.
• Death: He falls backward, struggling to rise again but fails.
• Spawn: Upon spawning, the champion roars.
• Taunt: Nasus throws a biscuit bone into the air, catches it in his snout, tosses it up again, and bites it out of the air before eating it.
• Challenge: Nasus turns around and kicks dust towards the cursor’s position.
• Dance: A sound system appears and begins to play rap music. Nasus then does a Snoop Dog dance to the beat.

When in ult form, he changes his dance to another excellent style.

• Laughter: During his ult, all three heads laugh together.
